Election Precinct and Voting Location Changes

NOTICE OF CHANGE IN ELECTION PRECINCTS AND VOTING LOCATIONS
I, Greg Cain, Judge of Probate of Morgan County, Alabama, pursuant to the requirements of §17-6-4(b), Code of Alabama 1975, do hereby give notice that pursuant to resolution adopted by the Morgan County Commission on October 23, 2023, certain Morgan County election precincts and voting locations for federal, state and local (except municipal) elections have been changed, effective with the primary election scheduled for March 5, 2024, as follows:
(a) The boundaries for Precinct 1-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Macedonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1820 Old Moulton Rd., Decatur, AL 35601.
(b) The boundaries for Precinct 2-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Decatur Fire & Police Training Location, 4119 Old Highway 31, Decatur, AL 35603.
(c) The boundaries for Precinct 3-9 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the American Legion Building Post 15, 2607 Highway 31 South, Decatur, AL 35603.
(d) The boundaries for Precinct 3-10 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Decatur Baptist Church, 2527 Danville Rd., S.W., Decatur, AL 35603.
(e) The boundaries for Precinct 3-11 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Boys & Girls Club of Decatur, 1404 6th St., N.W., Decatur, AL 35601.
(f) The boundaries for Precinct 3-12 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Turner Surles Community Resource Location, 702 Sycamore St., N.W., Decatur, AL 35601.
(g) The boundaries for Precinct 3-14 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Decatur Church of Christ, 2833 Danville Rd., S.W., Decatur, AL 35603.
(h) The boundaries for Precinct 4-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct has been changed from Decatur Fire & Rescue #8 to the Burningtree Country Club, 2521 Burningtree Dr., S.E., Decatur, AL 35603.
(i) The voting location for Precinct 4-3 has been changed from T.C. Almon to Point Mallard Event Location, 2901-D Point Mallard Circle S.E., Decatur, AL 35601.
(j) The boundaries for Precinct 5-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct has been changed from Priceville City Hall to the Priceville Event Location, 250 Marco Dr., Decatur, AL 35603.
(k) The boundaries for Precinct 14-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the New Location Baptist Church, 587 Church Rd., Hartselle, AL 35640.
(l) The boundaries for Precinct 15-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the John J. Sparkman Civic Location, 406 Nanceford Rd., S.W., Hartselle, AL 35640
(m) The boundaries for Precinct 16-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the Trinity Municipal Building, 35 Preston Dr., Trinity, AL 35673.
(n) The boundaries for Precinct 17-1 have been revised and the voting location for said precinct shall remain the West Morgan/East Law. Water Authority, 2547 Kirby Bridge Rd., Decatur, AL 35603.
(o) The voting location for Precinct 24-1 has been changed from Florette Volunteer Fire Department to Grace Point Baptist Church, 190 Eva Rd., Somerville, AL 35670.
The descriptions of the changed precinct boundaries referred to above are available on the internet at: www. morgancountyprobate.com and also may be reviewed at the Probate Office and the Morgan County Commission Office at the Morgan County Courthouse, 302 Lee Street NE, Decatur, Alabama between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Any citizen may determine at which precinct and voting location he/she is to vote by calling the Board of Registrars (256) 351-4663 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
